Harsh. I thought his kicking has been ok and could do nothing for the goals.

I'm not sure how anyone can write him off based on today? He's probably not gonna play again bar injuries so I wouldn't stress about it.

In the fifty odd years I've supported the Boro I've heard numerous times how awful a player is after one or two games. Quite a few have turned out to be good buys. All I say is give the lad a chance.He may turn out to be decent or he may not, either way,I think it's too soon to tell

Didn’t say he was awful. I’m sure he has some pretty good attributes. However, as stated, turning your back as a goalkeeper is unacceptable for me.

Hope he proves me wrong, but that’s a big flaw.

I think they are. Just as McNair takes 20s to take a deep free kick, and then walks away to let the GK walk up to take it.
