I noticed this lad’s goal scoring prowess when he was at Bristol Rovers. Indeed I think we were showing interest but bailed at the asking price.

Seems Peterborough have got themselves the next big thing with interest bound to be shown in a goal scorer. Whilst other clubs have trouble finding a striker they do it regularly! Oh to be in such a position!
 
They can defiantly find a forward... Gayle / Britt / Toney

I've been watching Clarke Harris banging them in for months thinking he replaced Toney. It's still a big step up but the 3 above have done it (yes including Britt😉)

I forget the name of the other guy, double barrelled name who went to Brighton, but it's strange how some clubs seem to be able to click with goalscorers.

Burnley I'd say are another, with the likes of Ings, Austin, Gray, Rodriguez all doing well there. I'd argue Woods and Barnes continue that; they're not even close to top draw, but each will get 10 goals if they play a PL season. That's pretty good for a club of Burnley's resources.
 
Won’t be cheap , but yes decent .
I think his fee would be £3m + which would rule us out .
If they go up he will stay there anyway IMO
