Was surprised to read a lot of negative comments from Leicester fans about KDH. Seems he’s been under performing for the majority of the season in their eyes.
 
The thing with Howson is he's 35 and we keep thinking he can't go on forever and then the league leaders roll in to town and he pockets the man who I think is the best midfielder in the league.

I hope he signs yet another new contract, I hope he spends the rest of his career here. I genuinely think the man will be held in the same regard as George Friend and Grant Leadbitter.

Middlesbrough hero. I also find it astonishing he's played more for us than he has Leeds and Norwich!

He cannot go on forever, he cannot keep Saturday's standard week in week out unfortunately but what a player for us, outstanding on Saturday simply outstanding
 
I think in all honesty he inst performing to that level this season in the majority, but he cant be criticised for that.

However he really does stand out when he does!
 
I must confess I didn’t rate Howson at all when he first came but he’s turned me through 180 degrees.

He is a great leader on the pitch is Jonny, he leads in the only proper way to lead, by setting a great example.

There are key players and then there’s Howson.
 
He has been an outstanding player over his time here. His starting period was under Monk’s leadership and the team itself was struggling to gel so I don’t think too much can be placed on his ‘meh‘ start tbf. He is one heck of a CM and has helped give Hackney the freedom to express himself and develop too. He has been a steal at £5M.
