had a bit of a dip of 3 losses back to back after an excellent run of 7 wins on the bounce....

With such a small ground capacity, PL wages & relegation payments coming to an end, they may need to put their house in financial order & move some of their squad on. JW may get the chance to start the season.

I have criticised his management, with damn good reason, as did our owner, he sacked him after less than a full season to avoid relegation, Woodgate was taking the club down imho. Look what Warnock did with the same bunch, a proper manager. I also said Woodgate was a good CB, just not world class, stats prove it. where is the hatred and bile in my comments. You show hatred and bile at times to posters when you see red, good honest posters like Indeedido, you do it all the time to a few, perhaps you should think about it when you stick the boot into fellow Boro supporters who pay the club their hard earned money to help the cause.

Absolute rubbish, I know the difference between right and wrong and I don't run with pack like you did to anniallate the character of one of our own. If people make unfounded sweeping statements like the ones ones this thread that question the very integrity of Woodgate then I'm going to call them out. You could see the way this thread was going to go from the condescending OP. I make no apology for that, this thread is as disgrace and should be taken down..

One of our own 😂 what an insular outlook you must have. What has where he was born got to do with his ability to manage Boro. He and his family chose Leeds Utd over Boro back in 1996 remember, one of our own indeed 🙈

Oh that's alright then is it ? Gives you and you lot licence to say what you like about him. Like I say it wasn't like that when your integrity was getting questioned on here was it ? Next time it happens to you, I certainly won't be asking you to come back. I guess it's easier to run with pack though so you keep doing that. I know I won't be !

I don't think you're in a position to criticize and make judgements about other people. I haven't forgotten the very judgemental and wildly inaccurate thing you said about me personally.

You come on here all the time having a go at a number of other posters and call them out on things you know nothing about with them.
You also fabricate and twist what posters actually post and seem to think you are really funny.

They criticise aspects, not everything, yet you always jump on any form of criticism, like you are somehow Mr Boro and not only care most, but know most.

Just because a bloke comes from Boro doesn't make him automatically great.
Just because he supports Boro doesn't make him great.
Just because he has played for the club doesn't make him great.

As for Woodgate, I was complimentary about his ability and bad luck as a player. He did well for us, especially on loan. I did that knowing the bloke is not a nice bloke through personal experience.
I called out his appointment as manager as a really bad one, for obvious reasons.
I then got right behind him as that's what we do as fans. The Club could only do well if he did.
It became painfully obvious that he had to go, we were going down. Criticising him for his performance as manager here shows intelligence, not disloyalty or unfairness.
He got the luckiest break ever getting the caretaker job at Bournemouth and he has not been successful. I am not surprised, like most of the Boro fanbase.

So, if I don't wish well for a Teessider who chose to go to Leeds as a kid, chose to leave as soon as he could to go to Spurs, almost relegated us as manager to League One and on the occasions I have met him has been an ignorant pr*ck and really gormless, then I can live with myself over that.
It doesn't make me, or this thread a disgrace.

Nice essay, I knew you'd be all over this thread. If there's anything negative to say you're the number 1 poster. What you said about Bolasie was a disgrace before he'd signed. You're even trying to say Woodgate isn't a Boro fan on this thread.

Never lived in Middlesbrough so all the stories about antics in bars I couldn’t comment on. All I know was on a couple of occasions an ex girlfriend’s brother asked him for tickets for me at a couple of away games. Each time he provided them. Didn’t have to do this. I do feel the animosity towards him a bit difficult to accept.He failed as a manager - not alone in that. I wish him well.

Nobby lad, I don’t run with any pack. I run with my own thoughts, just like most people on here do, it is not a tough concept to understand. Sometimes posters agree, sometimes they don’t, it really is that simple. You have the same approach to Boro and its associated people as your old poster mate hopeless did and you seem to like to attack the same posters as he did. Funny old world really. I have no axe to grind with Woodgate apart from the fact he nearly relegated the club as manager. I have said he was a good CB for us just not world class. I have backed that up by suggesting the stats support my comment. Yet you use the words bile and hatred when discussing my comments.

I do hope he is kept on at Bournemouth, I believe if he is, it might be a help for Boro actually, as i think we need every assistance we can. We need to try and finish above Bournemouth next season if we want to go up. Woody is currently a rival manager and Bournemouth are a serious rival so no, I do not hope he succeeds there. I wish him well as a person and every success in whatever the future holds for him, but if it involves as a manager competing against Boro, I will not wish him success, surprised you would as a Boro fan, but like I said, funny old world.
