Jonathan Pie - Sunak stops stopping oil

Said exactly what I did last week about ULEZ and the like being the new way to hoodwink voters into keeping them in power.

"what a vile piece of **** our PM turned out to be".

It was fairly foreseeable like. Despite his nifty suits and the fact he isn't batshit crazy like his predecessor.

I think he’s every bit as crazy, just in a different way.

they are, but I can't help feel we get the leaders our society as a whole deserves. we are where we are, because nearly everyone in society has gone along with, even supported, these methodologies for decades. blaming the leaders now is a little bit rich, and too easy for my liking. scum tho they are.

He’s bang on. It’s about money and always is.

Stop Oil is an interesting for me. I agree with it but work in the industry too. I know how many excellent jobs the industry provides for people in our part of the world. That is insignificant of course in terms of climate change and its impact.

Sunak has no interest in governing the country, it's all about making money for him and his chums. Screw the working classes, he has never dealt with them anyway.

Same with Bozo, but he was such a narcissist the power element of "ruling" was there......just not very good at it.

The two worst PMs (not counting Truss) in my lifetime, absolutely destroyed this country and set it back decades. All for ££££££££.

We've had 5 of the worst PMs in the history of this country in succession. Don't forget the lasting damage Cameron started.

He’s always bang on the money, I truly hate these Tory criminals with a passion.

Selling their souls for a few quid, it’s the Tory way.

Yes the political epitaph of this lot is
- Cameron convinced people that eating a bacon sandwich with grace is a pre-requisite to leadership; chose to radically decline public services through austerity; got spooked by a faction of his party and handed them an undefined brexit, allowing them to tear the economy apart, any way they chose and against the will of the people
- May, weak leader, wanted to be a Thatcher clone, turned out to be a Miranda clone. Had no control over her party and allowed it to become a radical far right party
- Johnson, did more damage to standards in public office than should ever have been possible. A grifting sociopath, that was nothing more than a veneer of charm enveloping a cesspit of lies, corruption, nepotism, and dismantling of acceptable behaviour in power.
- Truss a hydrogen bomb of economic destruction. So bad even her own parents disown her.
- Sunak, a grinning gurning, grifting calculated thief. Knows this is a temporary role so is using it to enrich himself.
