This law does seem to be coming from a good idea. But most people who have looked at it, like me, see it as the thin edge of a very dangerous wedge.
In my case, I could be imprisoned for what I say about Tories. I literally hate them and openly encourage others to do so. This law could easily be bent to prosecute me.
I have a strong belief that very few people deserve to be prosecuted for what they say.
There is saying and there is doing.

Are you not angry about what the tories have done to all of us? Those who couldn’t say goodbye to loved ones dying or attend the funeral during covid yet they were partying? The financial ruin of our country? Brexit? The freezing of our elderly? The starving of millions of children? Food banks?
