He's using it as attack, as it's all a jolly game to him, with few if any consequences - it's no different to a game of croquet on the lawn or smashing up a restaurant as part of the Bullingdon Club.

I'd put that as a stupid exaggeration. I wonder which researcher gave him that line?

If parties are held to party political decisions 100 years ago, the Tories are anti-NHS and they can't dispute it.

I agree with the poster above that the issue is too serious to be joking about.

We are supposed to be a rich civilised country and yet parents are worried about feeding their children.
