Johnson maskless in NHS hospital

On reflection you are absolutely right.
But God damn it ***ed me off something rotten last night seeing that.

A whole interview with Raab about it this morning. Moving the discourse away from what he should be talking about, corruption.

Or even bigger at the moment is how the NHS is going to function when all the non-vaccinated staff have to leave early next year

Why are people still listening to Boris? Any takers to answer that question?
He got brexit done didnt he, to millions that was all they care about politically so they wont ever turn on him. Plus the media has people believing any opposition would be far worse, not sure how that would be possible mind

Definite dead cat here. We should be talking about the debate into MPs standards that he missed, given all the corruption scandals he has been involved in.

Instead we are talking about a mask. Which should be worse, he's risking infecting people. In this country though it's better as there is a crazy group of anti maskers. Certainly they are much more vocal then any pro corruption group.

What the hell is going on with this lot?

"The UK justice secretary, Dominic Raab, has defended the MP and former attorney general Geoffrey Cox for working for a month in the British Virgin Islands (BVI) during lockdown.

Earlier this year, Cox earned more than £150,000 in his second job as a lawyer advising the Caribbean tax haven in relation to corruption charges brought by the Foreign Office."

So we have an MP advising a tax haven against charges brought by the UK foreign office?

I think that the dead cat thing is over used personally. It implies that there is a thought out plan behind these things whereas I don't think there is generally. Equally, I don't think people can only talk about on ething at any one time. The bigger problem is that too many people don't care. The volume and extent of corruption, negligence and incompetence that has been consistently the hallmark of this government and this Prime Minister should have ended them long ago. Any single incident would have been cause to resign for most. What has fundamentally changed is the extent to which the behaviour isn't only tolerated but in some cases worn as a badge of honour. And I am afraid, like it or not, it has its roots in Brexit. They were allowed to get away with corruption, illegal activity, personal data abuse and a host of other things because of the fanatacism of Brexit. They got Brexit done and now there are people that will forgive them literally anything for that. Until we start holding these people to account (and whether you are Conservative or not I can't see how anyone can support this version) and caring again about standards in public life and truth then nothing is likely to change, dead cats or no dead cats.

I disagree in this case. The corruption thing did seem to be the first thing that the public was waking up to in regards to how bad this government has become.

A distraction was needed, and with anti maskers being very similar in mindset to getbrexitdoners it’s a fairly well thought out one. Those that helate the government will hate them more. Those that blindly love them will continue

This latest bit of sleaze and corruption is just the latest in a long line. I think you're giving them too much credit. I think it's much more likely that in actual fact the Prime Minister genuinely just doesn't give a ****. In fact, I know that to be the case.

He did put a mask on shortly afterwards when he was handed one...
No, he didn't, this what happened. This has come out from the Northumbria NHS Trust

Re Johnson visit to Hexham hospital, Trust sources making clear

1. Number 10 told in advance masks to be worn.
2. Johnson and team told same on arrival.
3. Johnson was wearing mask but removed it once meeting over and tour began.
4. Was asked to put it back on.
5. Ignored requests

Trust complaining they were put in ‘impossible situation.’ Clear breach of rules and instruction but to say so a distracting row they felt. Real anger though not least at the arrogance, especially as they already felt being used as way of getting Johnson out of London/sleaze

Hospital visits are just being used as a fridge substitute, he is an appalling coward (as well as all his other reprehensible attributes)

I must have seen him being given a mask before the meeting in the footage I saw then. Absolutely appalling that he ignored requests to put a mask on - pure arrogance

I'd seen that footage too and when shown with no context it appeared that he had merely lapsed but no the arrogant cxnt ignored requests for him to wear a mask around nurses, doctors and ill people. And all for a photo opportunity to escape the questions about corruption.

Anyone else enjoying the silence of the shills? It's the only good thing to come out of this!

Yeah, Even the shill army has released we are into the indefensible territory now. I'm actually amazed we reached that point with some of those guys but it's good we did
