Johnson finally sorts out the energy crisis!

I thought long and hard about how best to save on heating bills in my house. So I bought a new house, and have capped off the old one so I don't have to pay any utilities for it this winter. 100% saving on that homes energy bills as a result.

This man will go down in history as one of the true greats!
You may joke but I foolishly looked at someone's Twitter a few weeks back (seemed a reasonable type but turned out to be a loon during the pandemic) where he announced that if only Bozza had resisted lockdown and gone with the herd immunity plan we'd now be hailing him as one of our greatest PMs ever.

Boris is a clown, but this is a good move, albeit won't come online until 2030 😖

We need to put our foot on the gas (literally) with more onshore and offshore wind, as well as solar too.

Electricity supplied by Gas is not going to work long term, for many reasons.

And SZB is looking at extending generation for another 20 years to 2055.

We need to actually own our basic utilities it’s a bit of a joke View attachment 43777
At least this is actually on our land, and the energy production price will be agreed in advance and not subject to costs which we have zero control over. The French know how to build Nuclear, but not owning it is a bit of a bad move, long term, albeit an extra £19.3bn would be hard to stomach.

We will never get caught up unless we start owning what we produce.
