Yeah glad they’ve been prosecuted and none of them should be anywhere near a ministerial position, never mind Prime Ministerial office, any politician who is dishonest and corrupt should be reprimanded for behaviour of that type, so despite the whataboutery we’re left with a Prime Minister who has lost more than one job through dishonesty, who continues to tell lies, who is opaque with the receipt of his ‘donations’, has superinjunctions to stop other stories being in the public domain, gave his lover grants she wasn’t entitled to as Mayor Of London, offered to help a friend commit a crime, and is in the process of being investigated for taking another ‘non declared’ gift.....I mean come on as a country do we not deserve better from the Prime Minister regardless of the colour of his rosette ?

They already lied to the Queen regarding the prorogation of Parliament. We don't know what happened behind closed doors but I was disappointed the Queen never exercised her power as head of state over that situation.

I’m no kind of royalist myself but I do respect how the Queen has served our country as the monarch over the years, she deserves better than this bent clown being put in charge.

She doesn't have a lot of direct power, but people like Johnson and Rees-Mogg love that close assoiciation to the Royal family and aristocratic society. So the Queen and her circle, furious as they were, will have been able to exercise unofficial sanctions of a sort that will have at least hurt these people. Being persona non-grata with the Queen is quite a blow for them at Ascot.
