Who will be next? Frank Lampard? Wayne Rooney? Gary Neville? Phil Neville?

Would Gareth fancy it ???
Everton sold Demarai Gray to Al-Ettifaq on a permanent transfer for an undisclosed fee.. (Steven Gerrard's team)

I honestly don't see how all this is going to work tbh.. I get the players and 'managers' moving over there for huge wads of cash.. but what's the point?

What is the punishment in that country for

Assault and affray
P*ssing into a pint glass in a nightclub
Car sex, or nearly car sex
Parking in a disabled bay
Sleeping with a colleagues wife
Racist abuse

Just wondering, like.
A death sentence. For the female victim.

It just feels to me like this big Super League thing wont go away.. I can't the Saudi Pro league taking off.. but isn't it just three or four teams in there anyway?

Newcastle United are Saudi owned.. sounds like the Saudis are after Manchester United.. hmm sportwashing? or investment fund..

It really feels like it's just another way to move towards the Super League.. whatever form that might take.

Yep i don't get it either. People are interested in the clubs they follow, and also the fortunes of established big clubs, no matter how many big names go to Saudi i dont see people taking any interest, or certainly not people outside of that region.
From a sportswashing point of view i dont think it works either really. Buying premier league clubs does certainly. Maybe the big plan is to sell the worlds best players to Newcastle, on the cheap...
