I have never been a Joe Biden fan ,
but listening to him the last few days, I think he says what he believes and I know his limitations, but in this era of poor US politicians, he is their best.

I doubt he wrote the speech (or at least that part of it) alternatively he had recent conversation about the history of Ireland wherein no doubt the activities of the Black and Tans were mentioned and it popped out. Hardly in the same ballpark as the racist dogwhistles of Trump or Johnson.

His better days are behind him for sure, been a good politician for the USA. Probably a bit past it now tbh.......but the best of a pretty average Democrat bunch.

The GoP alternative universe is scary as sh*t though, so let's hope he hangs in there for a second term
