Looks a really good book A4 size, glossy cover and lots of photos, stats and a lot of content taking us right back to the 1970s.
Give over.My reply was my factual knowledge and was not in any way meant to be nasty.
Give over.
Your 'factual knowledge' is that you don't know if Jim Platt has any friends?
Why did you feel the need to share that with everyone? Why would you even suggest he might not have any friends?
Of course it came across as a nasty dig. Especially on a thread which had a few other digs at him.
Because that's how he works. If you're not Labour, you're fair game.Give over.

The question was whether Platt calls his friends comrades. I doubt it was a serious question and don't really understand it to be honest. He was asked the question about his friends. Why wouldn't he answer?
Why complain about people making digs about him. He was a good goalkeeper, but that doesn't mean he's is lily white in everything he does now. He's chosen to go into politics. He should be prepared that people will disagree with his perspective on things.
Maybe because I was asked?Give over.

Cheap digs. The irony.Maybe because I was asked?
I speak to Jim every week and made a point that he was a lovely guy to talk to, but you obviously missed that.
Anyway move on, stop looking to for cheap digs when I post.
I would email because Jim was only printing limited numbers. He had run out last week from his first batch. Can anyone tell me where I can get a copy of Jim Platt’s book? It isn’t available on Amazon, at Waterstones or shown on the Boro club shop website.
Brilliant, thank you for your help.I would email because Jim was only printing limited numbers. He had run out last week from his first batch.
