Am I the only one slightly confused with the hype around the window? With Hoppe and Dunc gone surely we're short upfront, if Archer gets injured we're stuck with Crooks upfront (Who I'm still not sure is fit with his hernia?) Muniz clearly doesn't fit into the team and Ramsey was brought in injured? Plus Forss is better on the wing. Barlaser was a solid signing I just worry a few injuries could derail our season.

Chuba plays number 10, Ramsey is injured. Only got Crooks (who's a natural CM) and Archer number 9, one game has shown Archer is way better in that role than Crooks and Muniz doesn't fit the system at all. If Archer gets injured we're short imo

Muniz has made a handful of substitute appearances under Carrick, he's not played a single minute in 6 weeks.
We as fans don't actually know whether or not he could play in the system, he's barely been tried in it.
Crooks has repeatedly, despite clearly not being a striker.
Part of that seems to clearly have been because the club were looking to end Muniz's loan early to free up a spot, that hasn't happened and I'm expecting him to feature here and there now.

We made the playoff positions without Archer in the squad.. how are we short now with him in it?
Crooks (who's a natural CM) as you put it is doing better as a striker that Britt Assombalonga & Ashley Fletcher.. he leaves us anything but short.
'Chuba plays number 10' - he plays much deeper yes and he scores goals.. the leagues top scorer. Forss is doing very well on the right wing.. but has played as a striker in the premier league.
Ramsey is coming back from an operation.. just like many players have done.. he's a number 10 so he doesn't count tho right?
'Muniz doesn't fit the system' if we were without Archer, Crooks, Chuba, Forss & Ramsey.. then we would have to field a team and play a system that suited.
Having the top two assist providers in the league might help..
