We could do worse than ask Man City to loan him to us.

It looks like we will lose Steffan and Trafford played well for Bolton last year and is impressive for England U21 in the Euro's.

I think he'd be my choice of those reported - lots of PL links not that long ago and still a decent age.

Who was the last keeper to play more than a single season? Randolph?
 
Everyone knows we need a keeper. Everyone knows every other club that needs a keeper. Every keeper that’s possibly available will be linked to every club that needs a keeper.

We’ve been linked to Steffen, Trafford, Darlow, Dieng and probably a few others I’ve missed for weeks. As have everyone else. Easy reporting for the journos.

Until a keeper signs, I’m personally not going to read too much into any reports.

When you consider Archer is on the bench for the England U21s and AV were quoting £20m to sell. England have a good chance of winning the Euros with that team so that price for the keeper sounds about right.
 
He's only played 2 seasons in League One.

It's a mental fee, but the time of goalkeepers being cheap signings seems to be ending with their importance in overall play now.
 
Everyone who slates City's spending...

They have made nearly 30mil on two teenage GKs based on a good league 1 season (Trafford / Bazunu). That's stunning buisness. Also shows the world's gone mad.

They've added a massive sell on clause on both and first refusal to buy both back. They ain't daft.

AlsoSol Brynn had an amazing season in league 2. Yet apparently not good enough for us by many as 'only league 2'. One league higher I'd we'd want 10mil😉
