The Boropolis sight has the deal has 'off' now! Looks like he's heading to Spain after all.

Looked like agent talk all along this and they've just used another club to get him a better pay day. I thought it was a bit random for us. We usually spend weeks trying to tie up a deal, not a day.
 
Reading up on this I'm not sure we were even in for him. Warnock at no point said we needed anything central after signing Payero. It was all about strikers and wingers.

Shame coz he looks a cracking player.
 
I watch a bit of Rennes. He doesn't play all that often, but he's alright. Would probably do OK for us, but wouldn't say he's a player we desperately need. Camavinga basically took his position before he even got into the team and Rennes have a tonne of other youngsters coming through in CM as well.

Now if we could get Bourigeaud I would be impressed...

Almost certainly the case. People jump on Twitter “noise” the moment the club is mentioned and assume the deal is being worked on when all it is is some 19 year old journalist working for a third rate Twitter gossip site trying to attract traffic.

Agree with you comments about Twitter but if the journalist is 19 he has had a hard life 😃

Still think we were never in for him. After getting Payero, NW has always said we need left side cover and FORWARDS!

Well.. I made a comment along the lines of ‘being clueless invalidates your opinion’ after the general melee that was caused by me saying we had progressed under Warnock (from Woodgate) and that Van Bergen hadn’t signed yet so folks cant really criticise Warnock for not playing him. This was a general non specific comment that a lot of people took umbrage with (obviously recognising themselves to be clueless)
TBH folks had it in for me right from the off, ‘this isn’t fmttm’ ‘get back to fmttm’ etc I said I was surprised Messi had been allowed to leave and wondered what the deal would be with Messi10 if he went to PSG, three posters too exception to this (including cat w*nker mod) and tried to belittle me, soon as I stood my my ground I was an argumentative kn*b! Cat w*nker mod kept posting that we were signing Aaron Boupendza for 8m or 9m at the same time as belittling other posters (not me) for posting without a link to their source and for posting unsubstantiated names and figures (which he himself was guilty of) I posted a list of players we’d been linked with on twitter with the tongue in cheek £500k next to Aaron Boupendza.. well cat w*nker and his two little meff sidekicks jumped all over it. When the fee actually came out 500k was just as close as the figure they pumped out. I gladly alerted them to the FACT and called the three of them doyles and or whoppers. £500k was ridiculous.. just as a bid for Ryan Hedges was turned down.

Cat w*nker had privately messaged me at which point I took the opportunity to tell him that I didn’t find the way that he spoke to me acceptable and that it went beyond what I’d expect from internet/message board banter and not behaviour befitting of a moderator, he basically said it was ok because he spoke to other people like that too.

I received a restriction on my account, my cards were marked I was fighting a losing battle, fed up with the shyte craic so soon as my restriction was lifted I replied to Cat W*nker’s PM and told him to shove it.

So back they go to the never-ending stream of things cat w*nker likes to read from twitter. There was a few canny posters on there tbh but ruined for me by a few daft trolls who clearly don’t watch boro games.. they just sit there regurgitating stuff they’ve read on social media.

Didn’t really see anyone having it in for you tbh. Seemed like you wanted to cause friction so kept heading down that route. It’s not a place that puts up with constant arguing and rightfully so.

I didn't want to cause friction at all, I wanted to post about football on a football message board. It's a place that lets that didn't take kindly to folks from other message boards! I'm pretty sure the same names will on there trolling and trying to belittle folks.. it is what it is.
