Well done Redcar boy.
Went tonight not expecting much but really enjoyed it (i'm not really into his stuff)
Very positive buzz around the place.

Also 100% better than when I went to watch The Killers.
Got beers and pizza no problem.

There are many around here who would love to see him fail yet from what I have seen of him, he always comes over as a genuine lad. He used to sit near me at the game and always had time for photos and autographs with his young fans.
 
Went along as I bought the missus tickets for Christmas just gone and although I said she could take a friend she asked me along. Wasn’t too bothered but it actually turned out to be a great show. The girl who played second was a good warm-up. Very ‘Avril Lavigne’ style. And Mcfly were fantastic.

Then James Arthur came out and performed really well. I knew a couple of songs but even the ones I didn’t know I enjoyed tonight. Never bored at any point. Great show.

Lauran Hibberd? She’s class, saw her at Twisterella a couple years ago after discovering her on Spotify.

Who would love to see him fail?
Serious question, is he actually a massive star who sells out stadiums or was it just as it’s his home town? Can’t say I’ve ever seen him mentioned or heard anything of him except for when he’s mentioned on here, have no idea if he’s huge or what.

There was a post about the fireworks starting, on face book and there were quite a few on that that seem to want him to fail…
Everyone’s entitled to an opinion on everything but you don’t always have to air it.. if there’s a post about some one you don’t like, you don’t always have to tell us… it was much like the James Cordón post I started on here, some people climb over them selves to let others know how much they don’t like someone when that wasn’t what the topic was about 🤷🏼‍♂️

Not a fan of it but as usual will wait till I see it in the flesh to judge. Full kit on the Riversides green pitch always looks better

Just looked 94th in the world for monthly streams on Spotify, for context the Arctic Monkeys are 52nd so I’d say he’s pretty big. The Killers are 222nd 👍

Nowhere near a sell out. In fact it was vey far from a sell out.

First couple of songs he mimed. It was very obvious too.

Thought the second part of his gig was much much better than his first part.

The baby reveal was quality. Great to see his family enjoy that.

McFly were decent too.
