Jake Paul v Tommy Fury

Don’t get the problem with it myself, 2 guys who are willing to get into the ring, both have a lot to fight for in terms of reputation. I think it’ll be intresting to watch, Tommy fury obviously should win but he’s never fought in front of such an audience so you dunno how the pressure will get to him
Their boxing reputation? There’s the lad out of love island and a YouTube.

I think this one is being set up for a re-match or two.. Tommy Fury loses and has to change his surname (Tommy Gunn anyone) then a rematch to regain his surname and if the sales are good enough a final decider to crown Jake Paul the king of boxing. Tommy Fury to return to love islanding.

Originally it was about £7m for Jake Paul and £3.6m for Tommy Fury.. I think it’s a winner takes all kind of deal now at £10.6m

Not bad for two nobodies! Loads more for the rematch if it goes well.. these are top end title fight sized purses.. for nothing! Compare that to what his brother has

I don’t think Tommy Fury would be too fussed walking away from pretend boxing with £40m in his back pocket.

Everyone seen the script floating about?
Yeah, TKO for Jake Paul in the 8th round... Tommy Fury changes his name to ‘Tommy Gunn’ he’s offered a rematch to win his name back..

Tommy Fury wins the rematch..

Then we get a third instalment of the fight and the both walk away £40m better off

It's a massive fight, bigger than nearly all other boxing match ups. You'd think Fury would have enough having a background in boxing, but Paul has genuine lights out power if he can land. Whether he will be able to set that right hand power shot up is open to debate. But it's going to be interesting to find out in a fight that is going to do huge numbers.

Dumbest thing I’ve ever read on here.

To be fair, at least this fight is actually happening. I’m bored of actual boxers ducking each other. Khan avoided Brook for too long, Fury running from Usyk now and Taylor avoiding a Catterall rematch.

It got huge interest from a large non boxing crowd. Fury has a background in boxing to show that he couldn’t make the cut. Jake Paul has a huge audience who like to see these staged white collar exhibition fights.

Tommy Fury will make more from this than he could have done as a pro..
he’ll be probably be leaving a fair few pros and ex pros who got nowhere near this sort of money.

A lot of people who regularly watch the big fights are very interested in this. It's going to do huge numbers because of the type of audience it brings.

You might be a bit confused. A white collar fight is when a match up takes place where neither person has ever boxed before. An exhibition fight is deemed as not for competition. Both Paul and Fury are professional fighters.

It was more of a description of the type of fights I thought he was into.. YouTuber fights etc. Just done a quick Google and seen JP is ranked 676 in the world. Tommy Fury ranked 352 in the world. I honestly didn’t think it was a real fight. I thought the idea was that Jake Paul did scripted WWE style bouts and Tommy Fury seen as a similar sort of level with a decent name to give the whole thing a bit of creedence and spark a bit more interest.
