Jacob Young community noted on X 🤣

Complicit in the lies or just thick?
He's thick, he talked about building a road flyover so people never got caught up at a level crossing. He hadn't taken into consideration that it would block roads and any daylight going into the houses near the crossing.

Not to mention the fact that it wouldn't have been feasibly possible without demolishing a few houses
Oh I'm sure it was factored in. CPO. A few houses and demolish them then scrap the project and sell the land to a developer.

Where have I seen this before I wonder 🤔

Unless of course he needs to comission a consultancy firm to produce a £1 Million report to tell him what anyone in Redcar already knows

Not to mention it would cost a bloody fortune we dont have.
It was all about getting himself in the local paper and something to put on his flyers.

He came here one Sunday afternoon canvassing for a local election when I was just about to sit down for lunch. I opened the door, looked at him and just said "You are Ferking joking", and closed the door on him and his cronies.

If we weren't having lunch, I would have given him it with both barrels.

I think he has a great point, and personally I see no reason to not take it even further.

For example, back in 1974 under LABOUR someone earning £15000 would have paid almost £5000 in tax.

Can someone do the calculation for 1824 so we can feel even better please?

I can' t see him getting relected.

It might be better to compare the difference in the number of food banks in Redcar between 2010 and 2024.

People on £15k a week should not be paying income tax - its actually £3k below the Living Wage.

For Jacob Young see post #30.

Thanks (y)
