Crops up on a few threads so let Neil have his own thread.

No one knows what he does apart from his baleful influence on everything that goes wrong at MFC from the catering staff delivering overcooked burgers and gravy-free pies to the failure to secures the services of Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar and Foden for Warnock it is all "Bausor's Fault". Yes Mark Viduka's medical problems, Mark Schwarzer's "must play every game" clause, Gibbo's divorce settlement, Djed Spence turning into a "Worldie" at Forest, the dismissal of Our Colin ... every single one masterminded by Neil.

Either he is the poodle many think he is and therefore deserves neither criticism or discussion.
Or he is a real CEO and therefore is part of the discussion as to how and why MFC are in this awful position in the table and in their finances?

I think he is a low profile front man and makes no big calls whatsoever.

I always am amused at times like this when Bausor (and previously Lamb) are blamed for any perceived failings in the club despite the complainant never having any first hand experience of what he does.

Does anyone seriously believe a man would keep his job in Steve Gibson’s company if he wasn’t doing the job that Gibson wanted him to do? It’s a ridiculous proposition.

Bausor has delegated authority within the framework and limits set by the owner. He does the deals (or not) that he has the authority to do. He negotiates within the guidelines he has. He’s an employee. Nothing more and nothing less.

Was waiting for you to come along, Adi. You seem to be an objective thinker until it comes to the chief exec, it's bizarre. Is he your next door neighbour?

It’s happened over the years.. look at the dogs abuse Keith Lamb used to get despite bringing in some of the greatest players the club had ever had! They’re an easy target despite the vast majority of us having little understanding of their day to day role.
Keith Lamb had his faults and made many mistakes but was CEO during a golden age for MFC. Compare and contrast with his successor's tenure...

Nothing bizarre about it. It’s just an objective view based on the reality of how the club works. Bausor is a convenient scapegoat for the things that really ought to be pinned on Gibson who gets, generally, a free ride.

Which is exactly what I posted earlier. Low profile frontman who takes the flak, but makes no decisions.

People NEED a scapegoat, a donkey to pin the tail on. It's convenient I guess to have a go at the Chief Exec because people won't understand what exactly it is that they do day to day and any failings regarding transfers will be perceived as it's their fault.
