Italy v England at the San Siro

Dreadful performance overall.

Not looking encouraging whatsoever for the World Cup.

Worst case scenario means that it won't intefere with Boro matches though.

Pope's distribution has been rank poor just not good enough too many punts into touch too many misplaced passes and punches rather than easy catches. Not good enough
Harsh IMO. Popes distribution has never been great. Id have Pickford back but Pope is certainly not to blame for this performance and result.

Think I'll watch a series instead.
Wish I listened to myself.

What a shower of shïte that was. And am I surprised? Not a chance.

Playing against a team who couldn’t even qualify for the World Cup and we were made to look 2nd best throughout.

Over 400 mins without a goal in open play now?

But, let’s pretend Southgate is doing a great job. Keep up the great work Gareth. This is brilliant.

We were rank bad tonight, and I'm very concerned, but I'm not sure how you can blame that on Maguire playing?

Poor attitude from England. Would've been better practice for the world cup to have started the match at least pretending that they needed to win.

He always reacts after same at the boro

He should have learned at Wembley in the euro final when he did exactly the same thing.

Absolutely nothing was happening for England up to the 60 minute mark and does nothing to try and change it to go for the win.

Instead just waits for the opposition to do something first, Southgate claims he's learnt lessons from the WC Semi and Euro Final losses, but he keeps doing the same thing.

I just dont understand what he thinks he is gaining by waiting to see what happens.

Southgate is a total charlatan of a manager. Great player, but should be no where near the England job. He failed miserably at Middlesbrough, and with the England U21 team.

Good job that's changed as England manager then. Unquestionably Englands most successful manager in 50 years. That's after taking over at probably their lowest point in their 150 year history.

He’s earned the right to manage England in Qatar. But basically win it or leave (I think he knows that himself).
