It wouldn’t be match day without a Dan Barlaser thread

Thing is though, if you take Barlaser out of the midfield you're left with no one that can pass a ball forward. He's not perfect, in fact he's far from it, but Howson, Hackney and O'Brien are not capable of producing the accurate forward passes that Barlaser does, so many of our moves start with a pass from Barlaser that only he could produce.

Yes he does need to stop dawdling on the ball, I'd rather he smashed the granny out of it out for a throw in than get caught on the edge of the box like he did again yesterday. As someone said above maybe his team mates need to realise that he has a rick in him and so will need an out ball at all times when he gets it from Dieng.

He’s not even that lightweight he must be at least 6 foot and a decent size. He just looks a bit tentative and unsure of himself for some reason.
