It appears I have a hedgehog

One of the problems we create for hedgehogs are fences. They can't move from garden to garden in some cases where there are no gaps. So you should always allow gaps at the bottom or in the corners of your fence so they can get through.

Milk is a big "no-no" hedgehogs are lactose intolerant and milk and bread could kill them.
We had one a couple of years ago and bough meal worms from Wilko's which it munched down. However hedgehogs shouldn't really be out during day so it may be worth calling the RSPCA for advice.
Tell the hedgehog off yourself Barmy, you don't need no RSPCA!

Try not to give hedgehogs mealworms. The high phosphate levels in these worms sap hedgehogs of calcium and reducing the strength of their bones. In worst case senarios this affects their ability to walk.

Thanks for the heads up I never knew that. Who'd have thought feeding meal worms to a worm/insect eater could be harmful. Every day is an education on here.
