Incredible that he was written off by some clueless people on here last season. The lad is so talented and ripped Sunderland apart down that right hand side 2nd half. So glad he's making a few people eat their words, especially after him going through a tough time mentally last season.

We’ve one numpty on here who was still writing him off when he started to get his form back this season.

Where is Duffman ? He’s been very quiet on this subject the last couple of weeks

A player who will excite and frustrate, that's just how it is. Not going to change.

If he didn't frustrate he'd be worth £30m and be off to the PL.

His all round game has improved hugely and he's a massive player for us

A tremendous player. I think having Crooks back in the team playing in that supportive role releases him, so he has the freedom to attack knowing if it breaks down he's covered.

Really thought people were very harsh on him last season, it was obvious something wasn’t right with him but he still made important contributions, albeit not as frequently as the season before. Delighted for him.

I posted on here after Jones revealed what he felt were the reasons behind his poor form last season that I wouldn’t comment on ‘Isiah Jones’s threads. I am pleased for him and the club that he had a great game yesterday helping us thrash Sunderland. Long may it continue.

Playing really well at the minute isn’t he! I didn’t think he would develop much more and could have gone the other way but it’s fantastic for us and him.

The right hand side with Crooks and Izzy as a unit works like clockwork. The sum is greater than that of its parts, they are a team within a team, wonderful to watch. Players like Izzy you need to expect mistakes, Cochrane was the same, flair players are not metronomic figures. Izzy is a joy to watch and a joy to listen to.

I do wonder if the vocal minority on here saying he was non league level etc (bit bizarre considering he’d already proven he can do the business at this level) are starting to reevaluate their opinions.
