I think the ref managed the situation very well. It was a shoulder charge, maybe a foul but never a yellow.

Loved that ovation he got from the North stand when he went off, he was a bit embarrassed and didn’t know where to look.

Everyone appreciated how hard he worked. So pleased for him.

Brilliant today. There's been a lot of negativity recently, but fortunately Izzy wasn't aware of it . He seems a humble character, Carrick too, so it's nice to see them rewarded.

Brilliant today and in mid week as a sub.

Just nice to see him playing with a bit of belief and confidence. Especially as his mental health issues. You'd say 'just glad to see him playing'.

He's an absolute asset at this level. A player who's quick and direct is an godsend at any level.

I know his crossing and finishing can be frustrating. Yet he will put the fear of god into most teams if on form.

I mean if he could cross like Giles he'd be gone by now. Boro with a fit and more so mentally fit Jones are a far better side. We don't have another like him.
