Isaac Hayden

Starting to hate this little mantra.

You’ve gotta get the best you can get, I don’t know if this guys any good or not but you can’t write him off just coz he’s over 22 years old.
Not writing him off at all, didn’t even mention anything about good he was.

It was more about his wages if anything.

Would definitely take him.

What posittion does he play and is he any good?
CDM, haven't we all been crying out for a CDM to protect the back line? Someone with a bit of experience but younger legs than Howson? That's Isaac Hayden. He's taller (6 foot 1) and more physical than Howson. He can cover CB too if we get shot of McNair.

Like Darlow, I would expect he is pretty much on premier league wages. Can't see him dropping down to champ. wages. As others have said a bit injury prone and didn't pull up any trees with Norwich last year. TBH, I thought they had signed him permanently, and didn't realise it was just a loan. No doubt Newcastle looking for a club to pay all his wages or take him on permanently.

Ramsey didn't pull up any trees with Norwich either.

One is a vastly experienced player though and the other a young kid. You would expect something half decent from the experienced player. Ramsey did okay without being brilliant and then unfortunately got injured (hopefully not a recurring theme for his sake).

Bit of a weird one.
I remember the Norwich fans on their forum desperate for him to play.
They had lost Skipp in centre midfield who had been excellent for them
Like a previous poster I assumed it was a permanent signing for them - guess not.
I'd take him - but not on daft wages.
Be nice to have an environment where salaries awarded due to current performance not past performance

118 premier league games, had success in championship before. 28 years old. Already lives in the area. Can tackle. Can play a bit too. Wouldn’t have been my first choice but I think he certainly improves our squad and hopefully our team
I don't understand how someone can play 118 premier League games and I have not heard of him. This never used to happen. I possibly have too much knowledge in my head now and I'm having difficulty fitting stuff in.
