I watched him warming ip in midweek and he looked to be moving freely but I guess you can never really tell with an injury like that until you test it in match action.

But he certainly looked to be back in contention.
 
Depends what we're doing with formation.
I'd be surprised if Forss was dropped, and they can't both play RW.

Jones could play wing-back though.

I thought wingback as well but I guess that’s the most testing role for a player with his injury.
Not a lot of room to recover playing there.

Be interesting to see how MC handles it.

He went off on 70 mins with an eye on today hopefully. Plus he was only out for 3 games so he’ll still be match fit. Guess it’s more down to his injury and if he suffered anything like stiffness or soreness after. We play again on Tuesday too, and not sure he can start all three.

I Think that's why Carrick took him off with half an hour to go, to make sure he had plenty in the tank for today. I'm pretty sure he'll play.

If Jones is going to be here next season then it is all about managing to get him to August in tip top shape. For that reason I definitely would not risk bringing him back too soon and risk an injury that could carry over into next season.
 
I'd expect 2-3 changes today. Just down to the fact the likes of Howson / O'Brien / Mcgree and Lath have had plenty of injury issues.

It will be interesting to see what we do with Forss when Jones is fit. Carrick seems to prefer both coming off the right. We've not had both playing for the same position. I'd say ideal time to play Forss down the middle. Although hough unlikely.

It's hard to say how fit Jones is. We've often had players on the bench who are not 'fit'. Just getting them in and around the group again.
 
Howson will be demanding to play every match (he might not get picked) because he'll be counting down the games to what could be the end of his time here or even his career
 
Wonder if Jones is back in the squad when not quite ready ,just to be involved - like Carrick said O'Brien was in January?
Hope to see Jones back soon - but happy with anyone playing when we win
