Is there a decent UK-brewed lager

As a general rule I warm up in winter by drinking ale and cool down in summer with lager.

I know it's not 'cool' but I usually drink Heineken - anything but the ubiquitous UK one-vat-many-taps same old same old ubiquitous pish water that comes en masse from Northampton.

I fancy a change, surely there is a decent UK lager you can get in the supermarket but I am too lazy to look at and try each and every one.

if they bring back Norseman they should bring back this

Tennants is UK brewed lager....... so that's a no.

Nothing wrong or un-cool with drinking Heineken btw. When it's right it's a lovely summer pint. Bloody expensive but lovely.

I think they're discontinuing lost lager, there's an offer on at the moment for the last of the lost, less than a quid a can
I read that they were re designing the can and the current stock are being sold off before the re branded cans are launched. It’s a nice lager, so I hope that’s the case.

My mate runs a craft brewery in London and makes a fantastic lager (It is the only lager I drink)
Brockley Brewery - they deliver too

Loads of great lagers brewed independently. My mate works for Steam Machine in Newton Ayecliffe. I’m nipping down to Redcar today to grab few beers from pub there
