Is Shearer an a*** h***?

I suppose that if his image rights are protected in contracts, an agent would always insist on payment for something like that.

I met plenty of Newcastle players in hip and happening nightspots when at university, some were good fun, others seemed stand-offish. Everyone's different and I know how much I value down time when I feel worn out from work.

Shearer was a high level performer in his industry and if you spoke to people who worked in the homes of FTSE 100 execs, etc, they'd have similar tales of people who weren't always the most personable.

To be honest if his experience with tradesmen is anything like mine its no wonder he acting like an ****.

The ones that actually turn up, do a good job and clean up after themselves are the exception.

Does he divide option? I’ve heard a few rumours about people who’ve had experience of his company and it’s a negative light.

I know he’s a geordie but I’ve always tried to like him. He sometimes comes across ok.

Sometimes he doesn’t and I think about some of the stories I’ve read. Can anyone recount stories they’ve had with him as a person?
Iv come across him a few times and it’s well known he’s an arrogant unfriendly d***. Not a very endearing person, and thinks a lot about himself.

He never seemed like he wanted the celebrity side of being a top footballer. He might just be a bit careful about getting too friendly with people he doesn’t know. I’m sure every geordie he meets wants to be his best mate.

Couldn't stand him as a player, quite like him as a pundit, but the only occasion I actually was in his company was on a flight back to Newcastle from Amsterdam where he insisted on getting off before everyone else to get his bag. I very politely asked him for an autograph for my pal who has a pub full of Newcastle memorabilia and he had a right paddy about it. Proper bellend in my view
