Is Neil Warnock reading this board ?

I'm not sure Neil Warnock would've took us up but he certainly didn't deserve the boot for that bitter, miserable c*nt Wilder.

People have short memories. Warnock saved us from what looked like a nailed on relegation under woodgate. And then he steadied the ship the following season and guided the club back to an upwards trajectory
We weren't on an upwards trajectory, we were going nowhere. He had a good spell for the first 8 games he was in charge and kept us up. That was good, but he achieved nothing afterwards. You might want to check out some of our results and re-assess the "short memories" bit.

Checking out some of our results I see that he took us from a relegation scrap under woody to 10th in his full season in charge, which included setting the 2nd best defensive record for the opening 13 games.

When he was sacked he had us 14th with an injury crocked squad, but still four points off the playoffs. Had he been allowed to see his contract out I imagine he would have bettered the previous season's 10th placed finish.

So I'll stand by us being on an upwards trajectory with him, and also stand by the short memories comment, because without him we would've been where Sheff Wed and Sunderland have recently been

Agree with most of that.

Warnock left us in a far better state than the mess he inherited.

He saw off the last of the floundering big earners, steadied the ship and didn't saddle us with any expensive dead ducks.

The club did right to dismiss him when they did though. We were going nowhere if not slowly regressing.

He divides opinion amongst supporters but I know he was really well liked by the players and people around the club. That was clear at his final game (WBA away) at the final whistle. He seems to have it in for Chuba mind, which is strange considering he was his signing.

I appreciated his effort to keep us up, but his football is awful to watch at times
Sums it up for me. He tried but his football was dull and he fell short of what was needed.

It was dinosaur tactics, would have been great to have him in 91 but since 95 our aspiration have been better than he could ever produce.

He is a character, a bit marmite as a person, but certainly not dull….until the ref baiting gets repetitive and becomes dull and of course his comments on Johnson were deluded and an abuse of his platform.

I wish him well in life, I appreciate what he did to keep us up, although the squad was far too talented to have gone down and the covid pause was the perfect mental reset, I think almost any competent manager would have kept us up.

Should have left straight after that though or the following summer. He hung around too long like a fart in a lift, stinking the place out with turgid 1920s kick and run footy.

It was great while it lasted and NW did a good job in his time here. Part of the problem is that over the years, we've had some cracking players and played some wonderful stuff. Grinding games out will never cut it here. We've been spoilt

Neil played the strengths of his squad and got results, he didn't have the personnel to play champagne football....

Woody tried and failed to play sexy football with the same squad and nearly got us relegated

You can only work with the players you have on the books and as Neil wasn't given any money what did you all expect??

All the while we had cracking players and the wonderful stuff was being played everyone was moaning that we were too defensive. Grinding games out will never cut it here as football fans watch man city on sky and don't understand why we don't play like that.

HE had Kebano and left him on the bench because he wasn't tall enough....says everything

What we need now is to find a codeword for Warnock to say in an interview to find out if he is reading the board.
Also another one for Carrick see if we get a response for either.
While we are at it do one for Wilder I think for him the word should be CV so if he says CV in his next interview on Tele then we know he reads the board 🤣

But you wish him well😂
