Is Koeman a bully...

I don't rate him as a manager.

I don't even think he'll last the season at Barcelona.

Barcelona is a poisoned chalice at the moment. Full of players who are at the end of their careers or want out.

I don't expect many managers to be able to turn it around so quick, but Koeman for me is certainly not the right man to do so.

He was dreadful at Everton, and his time at Southampton helped because of what he inherited from Poch.

I am sure it does, when you offer long well paid contracts to players and the manager isn’t keen the club has 2 choices, suck it up and let a contract wind down or make life as difficult as you can without crossing the line hoping the player pushes for a move elsewhere accepting what may be less favourable terms. It highlights the need of ensuring players really fit the team brief of how a coach wants his team to play. It also emphasises the need, when appointing a new coach, to ensure the new coach’s style of play fits the squad of players you have without wholesale changes. This is something Boro failed to do very well, post McClaren.

Sounds like Puig and Suarez have already had the Niasse treatment. Puig is a tremendous talent and they should be playing him regularly! Should be building a midfield around him.

Can’t stand Koeman. Woeful manager and I won’t be following Barca this year with the same amount of interest as I normally do.

From what I've heard on the radio, sounds like it's already well known he won't be there next season.

Steadying the ship ahead of Xavi's return...

Yeah looks that way, once the new guy gets in at the next presidential election he’s bringing Xavi in. So if I was Puig I would just go out on loan this season as I am sure Xavi will use him next season. Be interesting to see what Messi does next season.
