After finally making the move from spurs, he joins the club that all but owns the bundasliga and in season where there arch rivals dortmund are going through transition he might still miss our to the emergent leverkusen.

So after missing out on the season opener super cup could he end up empty handed once again.
 
Looks like it, sadly for Kane.

To be fair, they shouldn't really have won the title last season either, Dortmund just absolutely bottled it at the final hurdle, so it's not like the signs weren't already there for a potential upset.
 
Feel for him, but it always felt like an odd move. Bayern probably not strong enough to win the CL, but almost “due” a bad Bundesliga season.

Of course, he may argue he’s there for the long term and over a few years, it may well turn out to be a trophy-laden period.
 
I think this is going to be unpopular, and rightly so, but I don't like Kane and it would make me chuckle if he ended his career with nothing.

The thing is, I have no idea why.
 
Whats happened to Leverkusen in the summer/since to make them so invincible from nowhere. They are 30 pts better off this season than last at same stage and tend to finish 6th previously. They have yet to lose a game. Looknig at their top scorers reveals no answer as nothing huge jumps out of those stats Have they signed the best back 4 in the last century or something ?
