Is chuba worth 12m?

It is a boring answer but he was worth what another club was willing to pay for him in the market. The world is littered with players with high valuations but if nobody is willing to pay that much, then the valuation is probably too high.

Any player bought is a risk. How you use that player is another. Chuba had a multi million pounds worth of true talent around him that suited his ability. His Ajax situation will be a different set of skill, style and play to here. If utilised in a similar way he will do well as the league is of generally a lower calibre. I can see him doing well and showing he was a bargain, but i stress if utilised the same way. We will miss him as a player, a human being and a goalscorer.

Worth between £12m and £15m for me - obviously if he were 24 if would be worth close to £20m, if he had scored 20 plus for 3 seasons then £25m etc, if he was on a longer contract £30m.

Haven't heard anything about Folarin Balogun for a few days now.
Just had a a successful season and Arsenal want £50m. Obviously, younger than Chuba, different contract situation and not achieved in the same league. The main difference, though must be that Chelsea are interested.

One good season doesn't make him a world beater.Great business for a player with less than a year left.I doubt he will get anywhere near that goal tally again.

He is such a great bloke and made us all smile so much last season that I really hope he has a successful season at Ajax. I think he can as well. He is not even just a hotshot striker he is also a brilliant no,10. He got better and better as last season progressed I think he may be able to jump up a level again.
Chuba studies the players around him and at Ajax he is arriving at a club that play always play a set system and style. Chuba will be looking at the videos now and will be rubbing his hands together at all the service he should get from both flanks. Good luck to him, He broke so many goals records for Boro last season. I never thought I would see anyone beat John Hickton's season totals, let alone Bernie Slaven. That takes a phenomenal player.
