Totally agree, even though I've never been their biggest fan. What we thinking to it?
I'm enjoying it more with every listen, definitely a grower and good to see they're still at the top of their game and streets ahead of most (charts) bands even in their 60s. Up the Irons
I still buy CDs TS. But a large percentage of them are via crowd funding, pre order, bands merch stands or from them direct.Being the only person in the world who still buys CDs (I know, I know, I’ll get Spotify one day). I agree it’s a grower but I couldn’t name any track except the writing on the wall single because they aren’t listed on the box art! Minor annoyance I agree, but still.
I like to have something to hold, if I’m buying it. Does that make sense?I still buy CDs TS. But a large percentage of them are via crowd funding, pre order, bands merch stands or from them direct.
I have not heard Senjutsu yet but must get round to it. Liked Book of Souls.
Hope your ok Scuba
I went to see LUMP last week and they were superb. Oddly I thought Laura Marling's voice a little too perfect and found myself wishing she'd channel Bruce Dickinson or Britney Spears to somehow make the songs more immediate rather than how I imagine a song by Virginia Woolf would feel. Kind of telling me about the emotion/story rather than illustrating the emotion/story and how good it is. If that makes sense.I've never really rated Bruce's voice as much as a lot of Maiden fans do, I tend to enjoy their music despite his vocals rather than because of them. He seems like a great bloke and obviously has a good set of pipes on him, I just can't get that excited about his singing unfortunately. He's definitely the best out of the three singers they've had though IMO.
Yes it does I use Spotify but when it comes to the stuff that really counts I like to own it not rent it. Still buy vinyl as well as CDsI like to have something to hold, if I’m buying it. Does that make sense?
