Just brings to light the need for the power to be with the FIFA doctor, or a non-club official.
In PL games, there should be FA or St Johns Doctors and in International or European fixtures it should be FIFA/UEFA Doctors who make the decision as it puts too much pressure on a club official (who knows the player, team, manager) to make the decision and when you get less than ethical teams/nations like Iran, who knows what pressure the doctors and the players are under. The decision should be taken away from someone from the side, and then you'll get a decision with the players interests first.
