Just hoping it isn’t so big that Israel can ignore it or block any strikes because this war is now close to really escalating in lots of more major..
I can. The last time Israel did something similar (in April this year) the Iranians launched a bunch of missiles and drones, most of which did very little damage and that was the end of it.I cant see there not being a war major war now.
Israel hit them straight back with drones and Iran played it down as an incursion rather than an attack. It will play on for years to comeI can. OK, I'd forgotten that bit but my main point, that a very similar Israeli attack just a few months ago did not lead on to a major war, still stands.Israel hit them straight back with drones and Iran played it down as an incursion rather than an attack. It will play on for years to come
"Ultimately its two very conflicting religious ideologies that both hate the other at the extreme end" was what I put & I'll stand by that. Its not intrinsically linked to that - Arabs & Jews have lived side by side for centuries and have respected each others religious and personal belief's for centuries.
in the same way that the political and military disputes in the North of Ireland isnt between Protestant's & Catholic's.
not quite sure why you have posted this top ten of despots - only the date for hitler is WRONG.
so what ever its aimed at, its a little dubious given that very basic error.
Totally agree only that the hard right are controlling Netanyahu also now and want to flatten Gaza and hamas irrespective of the loss of human life - their ideology comes first and the Americans only have so much power to intervene and influence them because the Americans can’t stop the billions of dollars they provide in arms to them near an election too!I think Iran - would like a continued conflict ( destroy Israel, unfortunately I think it's the view of many of their leaders ) & I think the rabid right in Israel would be quite content to take more Palestinian land, continue the brutal carnage of anyone else in the vicinity & Hamas / Hezbollah
If Harris gets in I can see the US reigning in the support & trying to force a solution / compromise
Ultimately its two very conflicting religious ideologies that both hate the other at the extreme end - & they are charged for conflict by ever more brutality, neither backing down.. other than that it should be easy..
If only their was a way to not indoctrinate hate into the youth & give them a chance to be free
