Intermittent Fasting

Intermiitent fasting is a waste of time. Eliminate bread and cheese totally from your diet and you'll see results instantly. Swap dairy for oat milk. Something like this:

Breakfast: porridge with oat milk. 1 medimum banana and black coffee.

Lunch: egg white omelette with 2 rashers low fat bacon.

Dinner chicken breast, broccoli and brown rice or salmon, baked potato and salad and or mix and match through the week.

Snack on fruit not nuts. Loads of fat in almonds and walnuts. Not necessarily bad but easy to eat way more than you should and full of calories
Why is it a waste of time?

Currently doing low carbs and fasting between 7 a.m and 7 pm. It usually works for me, especially in conjunction with hill running.

I'm kind of on a similar trend, I fast 7 till 7 but I eat whatever I like really and make sure I do 2 hours exercise per day. Takes a few days at first to get over the hunger and weakness

Not really. I said theres lots of different ways to achieve goals. But i could only reccomend one that i know works as oppoosed to one tgat has a high chance of failure or a one step forward two steps kind of thing. But from your tone you're obviously right
I never said I was right, it's up to the individual, nothing is a waste of time if it works for them. Its a waste of time for you maybe but if it works it works

The best diet is the one you can stick to for the longest, I'd say. I have been a yo-yo dieter and have tried most things. Best success was WW for me when I lost over 6 stone up until the start of this funkin pandemic and have since put 2.5 stone or so back on. I combined the low-carb/IF protocol a bit with the WW and it is definitely doable. I think I'm going to give it another try...especially after getting rudely told I wasn't sexually attractive at the end of a date at the weekend...:cry::poop:

Intermittent fasting works for me in a different way. When you eat food your body spends time digesting food absorbing the good and disposing the bad. When all this is done it works on healing your body but as soon as you eat again it stops healing your body and goes back to the food, hence your body heals itself mainly at night when you are asleep and not eating.

I suffer from Psoriasis and went on a 4 day fast as a trial and the results were amazing, skin was much clear of the lesions. If you give your body chance to heal itself you will be amazed what it can do which is why many people eat all their daily food intake within a 6-7 window and that gives your body chance to heal itself. Some go further and do 24 hour fasts a couple of times a week.

unlucky pal. His/her loss mate. I’d rather be told at the start of the date, much cheaper 😃

Omlette; spinach, cheese mushroom, onion

Salad bowl; pork, lettuce, carrot, onion

Small Magnum ice cream

Greek yoghurt; melon, strawberry, kiwi

Grain free fruit loaf, Matcha tea

Glass of Kefir milk.

Can see why some people could easily lose weight eating like this. It basically eliminates the opportunity to snack. You're either not eating or squeezing all your meals in.
