I'm not so sure.

It means that some troops deployed in Syria can be redeployed to Ukraine, but it sounds as if there is not much equipment salvaged. 10,000 extra unarmed infantry will last less than a month at current rates.

Mostly it is air and naval forces. The aircraft will be useful I expect. The ships surely won't be allowed into the Black Sea, so where do they go?

I'd say this was a logistical nightmare for Russia to solve that might take up resources it really doesn't have spare. Anything that causes Russia difficulty must help Ukraine to some degree, you'd think.

I wonder what will happen next.
The consequences of these kind of uprisings are hard to call.
If it goes pear shaped - who will be asked to support the country…
NATO? The west? - it certainly won’t be Russia.
The possibility of more economic/armed support being required alongside the support for Ukraine could be troubling.

It is unknown of course.

It doesn't seem good for Russia or Iran though. Iran was supplying munitions to Russia. They may feel they cannot spare anything now.

its an 'OPINION'.....

like a bellybutton, we all have one.

The other dilemma it raises is the terrorist organisations that have deposed him.

You know - the ones we must never, under any circumstances, have negotiation or sympathy for?
