Inspirational boro players - and where are they now?

I am planning a potential project that focuses on some of the inspirational / unusual life stories of Boro players / staff from the past. At the moment I have Colin Cooper, Alan Moore, Tony Mowbray, Gary Parkinson, Alan Comfort on my list... would love other recommendations and particularly any that are now midlands - london based. I am trying, ideally to map an 11 'man' route between Teesside and London but not with specific places in mind... any ideas would be great.

Ripley - england international winger, goes back to uni when he retires and now a lawyer?

Fabio - why only one game?

Chris Morris - plodding full back to pasty connoisseur

Jamie pollock - grafting centre mid who jumped off the Robbo express to sun himself in spain and now performing Jabba the Hut impressions.

If you are looking for someone in the Midlands, Andy Peake went back to Lecester to become a copper.
