First test of five starts in Hyderabad a week today.

Anyone going to be tuning in? TNT have just announced they have the rights, with play beginning at 4am UK time.

With the hosts' home record I think anything other than a 5-0 would be a respectable result for England but who knows.

Schedule:
25-29 Jan Hyderabad

2-6 Feb Visakhapatnam

15-19 Feb Rajkot

23-27 Feb Ranchi

7-11 Mar Dharamshala

Not only tuning in but actually going to the 4th and 5th sets. Getting excited by it. Only hope we are not 3-0 down when we get there

How did you decide which ones to go to?

I’m looking at flying out for one, but can’t decide which is best in terms of good weather / nice surrounding area / ease of flights etc

We wanted to go to the ground in the Himalayas - hence Dharamsala. It made sense to see it and the one before it in Ranchi. We are going independently and it way so much cheaper than what the Tour Groups, including the Barmy Army, are charging. In fact way cheaper too do it independently. We are flying to Delhi and getting internal flights with Indigo

Cheers! Yes the Dharmsala ground does look spectacular… just wondered if it might get a bit chilly up there! Done a few England tours before independently (in fact, actively try to avoid the barmy army groups 😂)

I’ll be tuning in. Presuming the pitches are like last time it’ll be really challenging series.

Interested to see how our positive brand of cricket stands up against the Indian attack on home soil.

In the last series, hanging around for grim life was pointless as a ball that had your name on it wasn’t too far away. Scoring quickly whilst you’re in may be the way to go. Executing of course, will be the challenge.

Can't wait, although not great for weekday viewing given the times.

I'd love to do an India tour one day, either England or multiple IPL games - looks an unbelievable place to visit.

The start times mean I should be able to watch the last two sessions without getting up ridiculously early. Cold mornings in the living room watching Axar Patel rip through us await! Throughout the Ashes we really went after Lyon and Murphy, not sure we'll get the same level of success in India.

Safe to assume Stokes won't be bowling which will leave our team unbalanced again. Sadly don't think there's a spot of Foakes in there.

Makes sense. Jealous! Dharamsala is such a beautiful looking place. 👍
