For the first time yesterday I think Carrick said they have had letters apologising for mistakes against us. I think this is interesting as it puts a little pressure on the officials - publicly acknowledging that the league have acknowledged we have been shafted is a change in tack.
I think Carrick is learning some of the tricks of modern management which can only help.
I know from reading articles that the refs and linesman have to meet up and review incorrect decisions. So perhaps this season there will be a 'this is where we robbed Boro' seminar that might make them think before giving/not giving decisions.
