In any other circumstances

We would have been buzzing about baloguns goal and might have been the catalyst to drive him on, I don't even think given the circumstances anyone even celebrated. Shame for the lad that he couldn't enjoy it.

I'm aware it was a mistake/a nothing goal but he had the presence/reaction to put it in.

It's the minimum I'd expect from a striker of his supposed calibre. I'm actually surprised he didn't try two flicks and to dribble it round two players before losing it, like he does the rest of the match.

It happens sometimes, hopefully he's able go score the winner on Saturday.

Fry's first ever goal for us was a consolation in an empty stadium when we were getting battered by Bristol City.

His first touch is appalling for a player with supposedly good technical ability. He simply cannot play with his back to goal, not got the strength or touch under pressure.

Once he's got it under control and is facing up the defender, fine. How often will he get opportunities like that as a central striker? Not very often I would say.

He’s definitely a wide forward rather than a centre forward at this stage of his career anyway. Hope he turns good but he’s running out of games
