I'm re-watching the 24 series

I did the same over lockdown but with social media critiques.

Oh look, Kim has fallen in love with a terrorist.
Oh now she's running away from wild cats in Los Angeles.
Oh she was an au pair but now works for a government agency dealing with national security measures, she's even got the power suit to help pull off the charade.

Great series but definitely looks dated now. I rewatched them recently and you have to marvel at the writing the way every episode hooks you in with the cliffhanger at the end

Some of the times are a bit fanciful like getting a chopper up and halfway across the city in 10 minutes but you're already suspending disbelief in a big way so I'm ok with it

Haven't tried re-watching but was like crack the first time round, god knows what my record was for number of consecutive episodes.

Michelle was a particular highlight 😍

Didn't Woodgate say he spent half his time at Real making his way through the box sets?

Love this show and have been through the whole series three times. Yes, you have to suspend your disbelief, and it does look surprisingly dated in places, but it was so good. Also agree with festa5 about Michelle Dessler - any time she was on screen was a good time.

Look out for the totally weird and unnecessary Stephen Merchant cameo in one of the later seasons!

Will do - I think series 5 which I am watching now is the best one with the Nerve Gas attack

Never watched 24, the list of series I have to catch up on is becoming concerning, I’ll need to live to 130 to see it all I think
