I was in the lakes on holiday and noticed it was on.

Hopefully some goals! £15 for me and my lad, two drinks, steak pie and crisps £7.50.

Decent!

Anyone I should keep an eye on? Wasn't Husband playing for them?

How did the Carlisle goal scoring midfielder Jon Mellish do ? 15 goals last season .

A fans favourite, lots of I love you John from the fans 😍. He was busy and technically very tidy, maybe lacking a yard of pace to move up the leagues.

Blackpool had a few nippy decent wide players (the Brunton Park tannoy was a bit quiet and Blackpool had friendly shirts without squad numbers or names). I didn't catch their names, both short stocky black lads with short necks! Had a young black lad playing centre mid, he wore 24 with a decent size afro, and had a good first half before being subbed off.

Husband played left hand centre half in a back four till Keogh came on with about eight others on sixty odd minutes.

The gulf didn't look that big between them.

Similar to us, Carlisle were let down by poor crossing, and when the ball in was good, poor finishing.

Nice little ground and a nice bunch of fans who were asking us about Warnock and boro.

I opted for seating rather than standing as the seats were in the shade at kickoff 😀.

Good post. They are my second team (Mrs B is from Carlisle, we've been to a fair few games) You are right about the fans + ground, despite opinions otherwise.

My lad was buzzing about going to be honest, he's had a bizzare infatuation with Hull for eight months or so but he's planning on adopting Carlisle as his second team now, which I'm pleased about!

It was baking when the sun swung round our stand.

He was there at the end of last season - with a ponytail!
