To find a reason to renew my season card.
For four seasons we have been terrible and its gotten to the stage now where my daughter no longer wants to go because matches are boring, I have to be honest I find it difficult to counter her argument.
Today was terrible on all fronts and it doesn take a brain surgeon to work out that when its that windy to keep the ball on the deck, people talk about a footballing brain, just a brain of any type would be a good starting point.
I realise that this is a 'transitional' season and that we will have off days, but today was truely awful and a display of how inept we are.
I want to renew at early bird prices, but, do i want to pay thise prices for league one football, definitely not!
This run of three games was a chance to cement our place in the championship, yet now we have picked up 1 point from teams below us and I struggle to see how we will get anything from Barnsley, this puts us back in the relegation fight and undoes all the hard work (or was it good luck) from the festive fixtures.
I'm no armchair manager, i dont play FIFA and I'm not in a position to start spouting nonsense about what the club needs to do the to resolve matters, all i know is that I like to watch a good game of football and at the stage where I'm beginning to wonder if my £500 is better off spent elsewhere.
