I drew out £50 at the start of the pandemic in March 2020 just in case I need it as the future was uncertain.

I've still got £40 of it tucked in may wallet as use card for everything now as so easy. The time I used the £10 note was when the vendor apologised as his card machine was down - good job I had some cash!

Coventry was the exact opposite - cash only for car parking. That caught me out.
