If your not excited by this team now

Seems like every game now we have at least one goal which makes me sit up and admire the passing and build up beforehand. We have finally got a team with a goal threat. Our passing and movement have been great.

Also Riley McGree looks a totally different player from what he was under Wilder.

Except Spurs obviously.
I included the Spurs game because it can potentially influence their form and confidence in champo... Couple of bad results agains Millwall and Watford, and a flogging at Spurs would really put them under pressure. Fingers crossed!

The fact that we can open up, almost at will, every team in this division is quite remarkable. And beautiful.

I've watched us for just under 50 years and don't think I've ever seen us score so many wonderfully crafted goals.
I agree and I don’t like to tempt a drop off in form but this is shaping up to be one of the best footballing Boro sides I have seen in my 50 plus years of watching.

Agree with your inclusion, for the reasons above.

They're unlikely to beat Spurs, but more importantly it's also another 90 minutes minimum shoehorned into their season and one in which they're likely going to have to be running hard all over the pitch, knackering themselves out to try and get anything from the game.

I'm very excited by the side, especially the depth, and we're now doing exceptionally well, but I did think the comms went a little bit OTT on us last night, if I'm being brutally honest.

We were excellent, but I still think it's difficult to say we were by far the better side, or had the better chances. Sheff Utd still had a hell of a lot of chances, and three big chances, but failed to do much with them. Thought Steffen had a great game. It was good that we had a bit of luck last night, especially with our 2nd goal, and that our strikers were clinical with some of the chances.

Don't get me wrong though, to even go to Sheff Utd and match them, nullify them, and come away with a 3-1 win is absolutely exceptional. Maybe that's what the commentators were getting at, basically how good we were against a very good side, who are normally fantastic at home.

What was also great was how frustrated they got, we seemed to absorb them quite well and then they crapped themselves when we had the ball. Their fans must have absolutely hated it, and this hopefully knocks their confidence as well as the players.

They've got a tough run to come, and we've got a simple one by comparison, I think we can catch them up.

We're getting better value for the chances we create now, which is the big change I've noticed, we're scoring goals which we would otherwise squander, and think that's all about confidence which Carrick has clearly massively improved.
