If you can’t be optimistic about the new season

Maybe its our lack of big name signings i really thought we would kick on from last season.
 
I always look forward to the new season, always optimistic.

Season dashed at about 3-30......it's the Boro way......😉

We'll sign 3-4 players before the window closes, just annoying this has to happen (and so say the other 23 Championship clubs)

Confident we will be up there👍
 
Probably because some live in the real world and know this squad isn’t good enough as it stands to get anywhere near the top two, or even the top six. Yes I’m looking forward to seeing the side play again but I’m realistic enough to know we aren’t going to be challenging for promotion without significant improvements to the squad
 
I'm definitely excited.

I think we will finish somewhere between 1st and 10th - and to be honest I'll only be upset with the season if we finish below that.

At one point last season we won 14 out of 18 games last year - I never saw that coming - so I'm not going to predict much about this season.

I personally think Akpom, Hackney, McGree are right up there with the best players in the division. Lenihan and Fry can be the best back two in the league on their day.

In truth, I barely knew who Archer and Ramsey were when we signed them, and they were two of the best players in their positions in the the league I’d say, in the final third of the season.

I had heard Archer’s name, and I obviously knew Ramsey’s brother, but neither were big names. We don’t need “big” names.

I do feel carrick is different and genuinely like him and think he has all the credentials to do exceptionally well the Concern lies with Gibson and the recruitment team
