If we get to Wembley

Setting aside the unfairness of the suggestion that ST holders can buy multiple tickets, it’s also a completely unworkable idea given the number of ST holders we have.

Cool your jets we need to get there first and if someone doesn’t want to go and watch the Boro at Wembley cos they have to sit on their own, we don’t need those part time Charlie’s 😉

For the Millennium Stadium, I was a gold season ticket holder so had first pick of the tickets, but my mate was a newbie so he was in the last group of season tickets to pick so I chose to wait for his turn to get my ticket so we could sit together.

Given the likely allocation I’d suggest if a season ticket holder wanted to sit with a non season ticket holder then they would have to do the same and wait until both were able to buy one and I’m sure would still get them. As previously stated not a chance they will allow anyone to buy 2 tickets with one account as would mean some people with priority points would miss out.

All hypothetical at the minute of course! 😳🤞🏼

I have 14 points, I hope it goes to some level that will help me get a ticket before general sale, it's not a great amount of points but at least it shows I have an interest in my club outside of big showcase games. As said above if it goes to season ticket + one other, a few other season ticket holders will miss out so I doubt it will happen.

We’d get about 36,000 tickets so I’m pretty sure everyone would be fine! I know a fair few people who went last time who hadn’t been to a game for years.

What a joke, season ticket holders getting option to buy another ticket, why don't they do that throughout the season? Points is the only fair option

IF we get there, I would imagine it’ll be season tickets / points / general.

I don’t think you can have a points based system, and then scrap it for non ST holders to allow season ticket holders to buy extra.

I renewed 2 x tickets for this season - mine and my partner. She’s attended 3 games this season as we had our first child in August. She’s not massively keen on leaving the bairn quite yet, and night games are a bit of mare for the bambino’s bed time etc so she tends not to bother.

I’ve generally been giving her ticket away to mates this season. A couple of them have been asking what’s happening with her ticket if we get to Wembley, but she’ll definitely be going 😆

The main reasons we renewed is to maintain points / free pint and for this type of eventuality.

I do hope they relax the 1 ticket per account holder policy to atleast 2 tickets per account holder. As family, friends will have diffent points and will find it difficult to get tickets sitting next to each other. For the final though we will get 40k tickets so they can relax the rules abit surly
That's a bit selfish. That would leave no tickets for those who have not got season tickets but have priority points so you can get a spare for someone who is not a regular.

Seem to remember that for the Norwich play off final Season Ticket holders could buy an extra ticket? Or am I mistaken?

I don't remember that.
I went with a mate who'd recently let his ST lapse due to family commitments. He had to queue online to it; no least because he was my lift to Wembley, I feel certain that I would have gotten his in early if I were allowed.

As always Google is our friend.. Seems it was one each.

Do we think this will be tiered, in the sense of 220+ priority points have a window, then 210+, and so on?

Or will they open them out to all season card holders in one go, knowing fine well, every single season card holder can get one, with there being over 30K tickets available?

I'm just thinking they may tier it, to reduce the traffic on their site, because we all know what their site is like during busy periods.

I'd be surprised if they didn't allow all season ticket holders first dibs regardless of points.

I'm hoping so.

I can imagine there's a lot of friends and families that have different levels of points, and it would be easier if they just released them all at once, to season card holders, so those families/friends can get tickets together, instead of waiting for their priority level window.

Then those with 75+ points, or whatever...then finally general sale.

There'll be plenty of tickets, that's for sure. Every season ticket holder will get one and they'll eventually go to general sale.

If you're a season ticket holder wanting to sit next to friends and family who don't normally go you'll get your chance further down the queue.

surely they would have to give anyone with loyalty points a priority window of some form before anyone gets a chance to grab one on general sale. Sort of defeats the object of it otherwise.
