We've JUST signed 3 players that we've never seen play for boro in Hernández, Šporar & Siliki
Olusanya & Payero have played a hand full of minutes and we have Sivi, Malik & Sykes still waiting in the wings.
As good as Traore was to watch with his pace, strength and trickery.. he didn't bring the goals. Olusanya sounds like he's gonna be quick, Ikpeazu is the strongest player i've seen for Boro and Jones isn't disappointing with his bag of tricks. Can't wait to see what the new guys bring to the table!!
Even if someone does waste a time machine on bringing players from the past to play for boro.. truth is, we couldn't afford them!!
Our recruitment is what let us down with Traore and Bamford. Steve Agnew in the prem, the money we spent under Garry Monk and then Tony Pulis.. thank goodness we have a DOF now to help stop that sort of thing happening in the future. The club is in safe hands with Neil Warnock.. but after our next UEFA cup final who knows who we'll turn to!?!
